Turnersville Auto Mall, Washington Township, NJ
Penske Automotive Group hired Bohler Engineering to design and procure entitlements for this multi-stage renovation and expansion project on nearly 70 acres in Washington Township, NJ. This site offers approximately 300,000 SF of facilities for nine independent dealerships with capacity to display approximately 3,000 new and pre-owned vehicles. Other features include a 3/8 mile vehicle demonstration track designed for a Hummer off-road test facility, a collision repair center, 180 bay service center and many other amenities to foster outstanding customer service.
Bohler Engineering secured all local, County and State permits for this project, which include an NJDOT Major Access Permit, NJDEP Treatment Works Approval, Safe Drinking Water Permit, and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to satisfy the environmental requirements of locating an auto dealership within a classified wellhead protection zone. Bohler's development strategy allowed for phased construction and State Highway Access permits to be issued, allowing the facility to be opened ahead of schedule.
