Drew University, Madison, NJ

Bohler Engineering has worked with Drew University on their Madison, NJ campus for over five years. First and foremost, Bohler has provided master land planning services for Drew University to aide the Board of Directors in identifying the development potential for their campus, as well as provide guidance in site selection for program additions to the University.

In addition to master planning services, Bohler has also been involved with preparing civil site development documents for various projects on site. These projects include a new academic facility, a new academic arts building and music wing, additions to an on-site library facility and two new residence halls. For these projects, Bohler has provided civil engineering design, landscape design, project management and coordination of the entitlement process.

Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT

Bohler provided site planning and design services for a 24,000 square foot administrative building located at the University of Fairfield. The building, known as The Kelley Center, is a green-build, hi-tech administration building and welcoming center which was constructed as a model for high performance green buildings. The Kelley Center utilized recycled materials throughout the building and was designed to save the University 15-20% in energy resources.

St. Jude's Church and School Expansion, New Britain Township, Bucks County, PA

Bohler was involved in the construction of a three story 21,925 square foot floor expansion to the existing school, including new classrooms and gymnasium, along with the permitting of a 3,698 square foot addition to the existing church vestibule and chapel. The development also included additional site improvements, such as the construction of sidewalks and landscaping; extension of water and sanitary sewer; installation of an underground storm water detention basin; modification of the existing bus loop for loading and unloading students; and construction of road improvements to Route 202 (storm sewer extension, widening, re-striping, etc.).

Gwynedd Mercy Academy, Gwynedd Mercy Academy Elementary School, Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, PA

Bohler assisted in the expansion of the existing elementary school, which included the construction of a new 22,210 square foot two-story building addition. The expansion included a reconfiguration of the school's main access drive, as well as a parking expansion, which included a multi-purpose basketball and volleyball court section. Bohler also assisted the school with reconfiguration and drainage improvements to the existing athletic fields.

Wissahickon School District, Wissahickon School, Montgomery County, PA

This project included campus improvements to provide safer and more efficient access between the high school and middle school campuses. Existing access ways were relocated to provide alignment across Houston Road, thus allowing for more efficient and safe bus and car traffic movements. Car parking expansion and improved pedestrian circulation were also provided. Improvements to Houston Road included traffic calming devices.

River Dell High School, River Dell School District, Oradell, NJ

Bohler Engineering has been providing master planning, civil engineering and landscape architectural services to the River Dell School District since 2003. The High School renovation project, completed in September 2007, consisted of a complete redevelopment of the school's athletic facilities, including a new stadium complex, a new all-weather Field Turf football field, all new track and field events, and seating for over 1,000 spectators. Ball field redevelopment included a varsity soccer field, a base ball field, a soft ball field, a field hockey field, two practice football fields and two practice soccer fields. Phase II of the renovations consisted of three major additions to the school and a complete redesign of the school's vehicular and pedestrian circulation systems.
