Waterfront Square, Philadelphia, PA

Isle of Capri Associates are transforming the existing 9.63 acre-tract of vacant land into five high-rise condominium towers, a state of the art club house and multi-deck parking structure. Among the largest high-rise developments in the history of Philadelphia, the towers will include approximately 951 units and 10,000 square feet of retail space.

Construction will be completed in three phases. Phase I commenced in the summer of 2004 and was completed in the summer of 2006, and included the construction of Towers 1and 2, a portion of the parking deck, club house and the installation of the associated utilities including storm/sanitary sewers, gas and electric. Phase II commenced in the spring of 2007. Bohler’s design expertise and knowledge of the approval process were instrumental in the owner's team meeting critical deadlines and an aggressive construction schedule.

Ballpark District Development, Monument Realty, Washington, DC

Bohler Engineering has been retained by Monument Realty in connection with plans to revitalize a former underutilized area along the Anacostia River in the southeast section of Washington, DC. It will be located within the Ballpark District, a planned mixed-use enclave encompassing 60 acres that includes the Washington Nationals' new baseball stadium which opened in March 2008. When complete, Bohler will have been involved in the design, permitting and construction of land improvements to accommodate 100,000 square feet of retail space, 275,000 square feet of office, a 196-room boutique hotel and 330 residential units.

NY Jets, Rock-GW, LLC, NJ

This project includes the development of the principal roadway to serve the planned development of this 493 acre site in Florham Park. At full build-out, it is expected that the site will be one of New Jersey's premier master planned, integrated mixed-use developments. The venture will include the New York Jets new headquarters and training facility on approximately 20 acres, approximately 600,000 square feet of office space, an age-restricted residential community, a health and wellness center, and a 250-room hotel.

Columbia Crossroads, Weissberg Corporation, Fairfax, VA

Columbia Crossroads is a mixed use development that includes residential, office and retail components, along with a Public-Private Partnership that will provide for a Fairfax County Office Building. This project includes several Green Roof designs and other Green Building components.

These two redevelopers have retained Bohler to prepare boundary and topographical surveys meeting ALTA/ACSM Land Title survey standards, perform due diligence services, prepare site plan and construction documents, and coordinate the approvals process.

Woodmore Towne Center, Petrie Ross Ventures, Landover, MD

Bohler is providing complete civil consulting and engineering services for the retail and commercial elements of this 245 acre mixed-use development, which will include retail, residential, hotel, and office space. This development will be anchored by Wegmans.

Waldorf Crossing, St. John Properties, Waldorf, MD

This development includes 140 acres of retail, office, hotel, and residential development. The project includes the design of 1.5 miles of new public infrastructure and significant off-site road improvements.

Hunts Point Market, Anheuser-Busch, The Bronx, NY

This project involved the transformation of a Brownfield site into a modern state of the art cold storage warehouse, distribution center, recycling center and office building on 13.5 acres. The site planning complexities included a pile supported relieving platform to accommodate the heavy trucks on very unstable soils, working around a major interstate utility easement, provisions for new rail freight access to the warehouse and a rail road crossing at both driveway entrances. The project planning involved extensive discussions with FEMA to resolve tidal flood concerns for this exposed site at the confluence of the East River and Long Island Sound. The client's interest in sustainable building and the LEED program governed the design of all aspects of the project. Bohler Engineering was responsible for designing the entire site plan, storm water treatment system, native plant landscape and gray water irrigation system utilizing roof water. As part of the design build team with Milric Construction Corp, Bohler provided the civil and permitting consultant services for the new Anheuser Busch Facility in the Hunt's Point Market area of the Bronx.

The Town of Bryn Eyre, Bryn Eyre, L.P. c/o Arcadia Land Company

This exciting and cutting-edge project has a vision to create a traditional Pennsylvania town, similar to and patterned after the historic towns of West Chester, Wayne and Wyomissing, integrating both traditional elements of town building and modern Smart Growth principles.

Bryn Eyre proposes the development of single-family detached dwellings, single-family attached dwellings and multi-family dwelling units, together with non-residential space including office space, retail space, light industrial/flex space, religious and civic/community space, hotel rooms and schools. Bryn Eyre encompasses over 2,500 acres of land with development of a maximum of 12,094 residential units as well as 5,924,991 square feet of non-residential square footage, together with schools and municipal buildings.

Main Street at Exton, PA

Route 100 north of the Exton By-pass- Re-development of 150-acre site that includes 300,000 square feet of retail shops and services. Anchors in this center include Wal-Mart & Sam's Club. The project also includes a 3,000-seat movie theater, an office building with a parking garage, apartments and several smaller retail shops and restaurants.

Savage Town Center, Petrie Ross Ventures, Savage, MD

This 11 acre mixed-use Transit Oriented Development (TOD) will include 53,000 SF of retail, 260 residential units, 200 hotel units and 145,000 square feet of office space. Bohler is providing surveying, civil engineering, and permitting services for this project.
